AMLN: What about overshooting?

Here are the details of my order today: I closed the position and cancelled the contingency order. Here is the confirmation.



As a result, the account is now worth $13,009




That is $2183 over the original $10826 when the account was started, a 20% increase since 8/15/2005, only a few trading days. The other trades have not done so well, but they have not triggered the exits, and the actual paper loss is negligible, so we keep monitoring them.

The cash available for trading is now >$9000, which means that we could start 4 more trades comfortably.

I suspect AMLN will do well in months to come, but for now, we have an overshooting situation. AMLN is in the middle of a double zigzag, and the target on RET is about $34. We are currently at $33.



I think this is a good time to take profits and await another entry point.
I will post details shortly.
