NFLX tanking / AAPL pullback

Although my trading account is low in cash, I am offering my views on the stock of the day: NFLX

NFLX triggered my system today

The catalyst is the low revenues despite increasing number of subscriptions. I think that AAPL will announce a movie download service (using streaming) in the near future, and that would devastate services like NFLX.

Here is the RET forecast

If you took a position on AAPL, you have seen it retrace almost 50% from the previous rally. Your stop loss should be at about $50.2. If you are looking for the end of the pullback to take a position, you are just awaiting for a BUY signal from your oscillator in the 60 min chart.

I use the stochastics oscillator. BUT, why the 60 min chart? Because the daily chart is still bullish. If AAPL falls below $50, you should be out of the trade.

Breakout on AKAM, target $17.75 (23.6% move up) at the very least, possibly $18.33 (38.2% move up) and $19.16 (161% Fibonacci).

Both DBD and BBY look as if they are moving upwards (retracement).

Also PETM has formed a double bottom, could be about to turn.

RHAT projection $25.30, using a 23.6% move up from the lows back earlier this year. A bit optimistic, but worth re-entering.

Often times, after hours quote do not reflect true value. I am focused on entering some trades this morning, I am looking at FDX, AMLN and AKAM. I might have to go to my other accounts for this.

Hope we're all still holding AAPL. New alltime intraday high today. Moving well. That was quite an interesting attempt to shake us out just before the news announcement of the new computers and Aperture software. AMZN looking pretty good, too, but struggling with 46. CMI looks tlike it may have bottomed.

Have been watching AHG...

I wasn't in the trade unfortunately, but some move in the last few days.

SGR has done just over a 50% retracement, there is a double bottom. Although down so far today, it looks promising, although the volume is not there.

BP

BP warns of $700 million hurricane hit. Won't meet 2005 production guidance.

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Oil major BP said Tuesday hurricanes Katrina and Rita would be largely to blame for a profit shortfall of more than $700 million, and warned that it won't hit production targets for the year.

This is a change in circumstances about brought about the decline(retracement).
