I have used platinum to search for candidates that may have triggered my system in the last month.
I went back to every week and search the last 5 days (trading days), for volume spikers with an increase or decrease of 5% or more in stock price. I am entering the list below, but be aware that the conditions of my system are not necesarily met, you need to look at the catalyst in each instance. Use Yahoo financials to look back at the news on the day of the spike and use Stockcharts.com to see if the stock represents an opportunity now, considering that the Fibonacci pullback may have occurred already.
Please share with us which stock appeals to you and why, so we can all find the winners! Make sure that you are coherent, choose bearish plays among stocks that have spiked in volume in their way down, and bullish plays in stocks that spike in volume in their way up.

Hey Juan Sarmiento. Nice blog. You may want to check out credit spreads. It's got lots of info on credit spreads.
Juan,
Of all the above, my heart goes to MRVL. A 60 CRC would be nice with a stop loss at 54.16 (lowest low for the past 7 days) or 53.3 (gapped up level)if risk appetite is bigger.
In terms of technical, MRVL is now in a wave 4 and since wave 2 is a sharp decline (47 -> 41), current wave 4 would be gentler downslope. And even if that W5 doesn't materialise, one would have made some money from the short calls.
Juan, can you also take a look at PD?
Do you use Elliott wave analysis too?
if so, send me a gif or jpeg of your analysis, and I will post it for you.
I have openned a PCCRC on MRVL, so we can discuss that too. I will do my own REF analysis and see how our counts compare.
Also, it is very important that you have a historical analysis for MRVL. I will demonstrate!
Send your pictures to paperprofit1@mac.com
i'm using AGET to do the wave counts. I only use fibonacci to check the targets for the wave.
When you say historical, how many years back do you start the charting analysis?
will send you the charts today =)

I have used Advanced Get in the past (I still own the software — probably will sell it on EBAY) but I have cancelled the the e-signal data feed.
I am using Elliottician.com's RET (Refined Elliott wave trader), which I believe better meets the theory behind the Elliott wave.
I am sure you know that every wave (no matter how small), is part of a complex series of fractals. Today's count (intraday), depends on how it fits in a larger scheme of counts that should reallly go back to the history of the stock in particular. AGet doesn't do that. Your intraday count using GET can change at any minute because it does not have a strong historical foundation.
I have described a comparison between GET and RET in my earlier blogs. I suggest you go back and look. I have also done manual counts using the Neely system (book). You need to make up your own mind. Stick around and take a look at the Elliott analysis that I have made recently, and see how they compare with GET.
Juan,
Currently, the IV (around 39%) of MRVL Feb or Mar options looks a bit high to me although the IV/SV is below 1. Did you put on your position in mid-Nov when the IV was lower or you just put on the position 'cos you expect the IV to rise further ?
