I recently changed Web hosting providers. This has resulted in some changes in the indexing of video clips, so they may no longer be available directly from the addresses posted in each article. Instead, I have placed the pointing addresses in a video clip menu page that you can access by clicking the "video clip" link in the right column here ===>
Alternatively, just go to this address
http://pathometrix.com/Movies.html
The video clips are organized alphabetically with the date of the article as well. Just click the hypertext and the video will pop up in Quicktime format.
If there is a video missing, please let me know and I will try to post it again.
Thanks for your patience.

Juan, when I read your archives (July that is -- your beginner options trader blog) it seems that you often use a 60 minutes chart. Is this really necessary for PCCRC strategy?
No, Oskar it is not necessary at all. I probably was using the 60 min chart under a certain approach for entry. Please point to the specific chart.
If you like to trade after hours you can enter your position before market hours and enter a reasonable bid for the trade and hope it gets filled. To enter the trade as in on ticket you'll need an account in Interactive Brokers or Cyber Trader Pro, these are the only brokers I know of that would allow to enter a 4 legged ratio trade.
OX requires that you enter the PCCRC in 2 portions. In OX I enter the long straddle first, if it fills then I enter the short.
You could also enter the trade as a call ratio calendar followed by a put ratio calendar of viceversa. For that you could use the 60 min chart.
Oskar, please post the questions you send me by e-mail here, please. I think that they are extremely relevant and will allow me to expand.
Hello Juan, here's the link that has 60 minutes chart, I haven't dig into another page though: stockofthedayii.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
And here's the email that I sent you:
I got your email from optionetics board and I have several questions about the options market. I spent 2 years on equity market (exclusively stocks) and made my (rather small) fortune using fundamental analysis. Lately I'm very interested on using options as my investment instruments and stumbled upon quite a problem. Usually on FA, I'm holding the stocks for months if not years (the shortest being 5 months) but that can't be practised in Options (because the premium is very expensive) so I'm looking into Techincal analysis for shorter holding periods.
I'm usually trading using triple crossed MA, Full stochastic, MACD, and RSI for my indicators and facing alot of whipsaw. Do you mind on sharing your ideas on what indicator should I use?
Second and probably the last question on my first email is, do we need to master techincal analysis on trading options? Couldn't we just apply options strategy (butterfly, strangle, simple straddle, or more advanced technique) without knowing the direction of the underlying securities?
Thank you very much ;-)
Oskar, you inspire me to write one session on "The Perfect System".
Ironically a day like today in which a Fundamental Analyst may be very impressed with AAPL and GOOG earnings would ask himself, am I too late to the party?
My answer is NO, as long as you use a hedged strategy like the PCCRC. Here is were the strategy excels. Please look for my next instalment where I will explain how to trade the PCCRC with your style of trading, while you learn to use the TA indicators.
I'm looking forward to your next part of "The Perfect System" ;). Is there anything I can do to help?
Juan,
Thanks for updating the video clip page. I was having trouble accessing it for some reason. BTW, thanks for all of your hard work in ironing out the details of the PCCRC system. It truly is phenomenal! I'm doing extensive backtesting on it right now using your rules for entry, transformation and exit and hopefully, I'll have even better success than in the haphazard backtest results I emailed you a few days ago which showed a 70% win ratio and $9500 net gain. Thanks again.
Matt
Thanks Matt
Be sure to paper trade my suggested PCCRC. You can try paper trading AAPL, RIMM and/or GOOG.
Since this is earnings season, there will be other big jumpers to try out.
Oh yeah, last question for today, is it still viable (as in profitable) to trade PCCRC NOT during earning season?
Have a good weekend!
